Terms of employment: Permanent, Full Time, Day

Salary: $27.50 Hourly, for 35.00 Hours per week

Anticipated start date: As soon as possible

Location: Scarborough, Ontario

Qualification:

More than 5 years of experience in product purchasing
Completion of college/CEGEP/vocational or technical training

Main duties of the Job:

Analyze Chinese herbal markets, select suppliers and ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging at optimal prices
Meet with our sales representatives from various suppliers to compare their products and companies
Contact overseas suppliers to obtain information on price, quality and delivery capabilities for the products required
Establish the delivery schedule, monitor progress and resolve problems
To develop purchasing strategies for negotiating contracts for the company
Prepare business presentations to make recommendations to management regarding acquisitions and supplier selections
To record all the details of goods orders and purchases, and related information as required
Hire, train and supervise staffs are required.
