A Post-Secondary graduate with a degree that required you to have extremely strong marketing, writing and communications skills to excel!

As PQA’s Marketing Specialist, you will bring your experience and ideas to help PQA create successful engagement strategies, brand awareness, and industry knowledge around the solutions we provide.  We are looking for someone with the expertise to both plan and execute on initiatives with sound and proven marketing principals.  Being proactive, innovative, and never afraid to suggest new concepts will be key to your success but also knowing how to balance these with internal stakeholders expectations.

PQA is comprised of a phenomenally talented team and as our new Marketing Specialist we want you to help us educate the world on the value of software testing.

The following are some of the responsibilities:

Creating and executing comprehensive marketing plans and strategies
Providing support in marketing: coordination of events, conferences, website, social media, advertising, digital and content marketing
Ensuring a consistent look, style and feel for all communications (logo/imagery/colours/templates)
Updating and preserving materials to reflect messaging and positioning, including sales materials and press kit
Branding voice examples (text)
Broadcasting a mix of original and repurposed content via social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google+)
Delivering internal and external newsletter
Supporting blogs, articles, research, whitepapers and eBooks
Assisting with webinars
Managing award and recognition applications
Supporting event and conference content
Website copy
Maintaining marketing asset inventory
Managing press releases and announcements
Reporting on traffic analytics: web and social media
SEO of content
Managing advertising
Assisting with case studies
Assisting with production of artwork and sourcing of images
Assisting with user group, industry, conferences and career fairs.
Community engagement
Social Media Marketing – Plan/execute “social” schedule for own social presence / messaging / announcements
MS Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Hootsuite and Mail Chimp (an asset)
Experience with marketing in a B2B and a service environment (an asset)
