Marketing strategy
Assist in the quarterly marketing strategy planning
Manage all third-party marketing providers
Prepare competitor analysis reports
Research company’s internal capabilities
Research external opportunities such as joining relevant associations and directories, participating in tradeshows and conferences
Maintain the spreadsheet of all on-going marketing campaigns based on the number of new leads, clients and revenues
Coordinate all payments for relevant marketing expenses and maintain a spreadsheet to make sure they are within the marketing budget
Attend marketing-related events representing the company and networking with future possible suppliers
Prepare marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
Maintain multiple lists (general database, new inbound leads, key accounts list, lead-client turnaround list, third-party provider list, ROI spreadsheet)
Direct marketing
Research/analyze customer lists for marketing campaign targeting.
Design email marketing templates and manage in-house email marketing campaigns
Assist the outsourcing company in the preparation of video materials, email content and follow-up scripts for the email marketing campaigns
Keep track of all legal innovations on anti-spam legislation in Canada and the US
Prepare marketing material (such as brochures) to be mailed to prospects
Work with suppliers (photographers, printing company, email marketing software provider) in the creation of new and maintenance of current promotional items

Digital marketing
Assist in the process of choosing the right third-party provider for PPC campaigns
Work with the outsourcing company to design the display ads, landing pages, ad copies, as well as educate them on the industry specifications and company’s capabilities
Prepare the list of relevant keywords necessary for launching AdWords campaigns
Review search queries on a weekly basis and continually add the bad ones to the negative keyword list
Work with the software company to set up and maintain separate phone lines and a portal for the tracking purposes
Collect data from the tracking software and Google Analytics to analyze the campaign spend and success
Website maintenance (continuous content revision, adding new and updating existing web pages in WordPress, setting up photoshoots of the warehouse as its layout changes)
Manage company’s social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, Foursquare, etc.)
Research various industry-related online directories and advertising opportunities to join
Sales coordination
Receive inbound sales inquiries and coordinate them accordingly (company’s info@ email account and some of the sales calls)
Work with the Operations department in the preparation of quotes for the customers and coordinating their service requests
Maintain a spreadsheet of all the outbound quotes and keep track of wins/losses
Prepare capabilities presentations and case studies for prospects and clients
Prepare monthly and quarterly KPIs for top customers by analyzing the sales data
Update prospect and customer data in the CRM system
Assist account managers in meeting new prospects and conducting tours of the warehousing facilities
Special projects
Assist various departments in the selection of the software for the company (research WMS, TMS, CRM and IT providers and contacting them to make the first cut)
Research various licenses and permits necessary to service a client
Other special projects as requested by supervisor.
Qualifications:
University degree
At least a year of marketing background
Experience in Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
WordPress and Google Analytics proficiency
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Familiar with social media sites listed above
Familiar with major CRM systems
Organized and motivated personality
Experience in an office environment
Knowledge of the logistics industry an asset
