Marketing Sales / Business Development Specialist – MacDonnell Group – Halifax City

Active within the seaport world of North America, our business trains and educates customers who represent the core of the global transportation system and the supply chains that support it. North American seaports and the demand for our training products are both expanding rapidly so the potential for growth is very high.

This position will work with a senior business development team charged with establishing the company in a leadership position in North America by accelerating sales growth over the next 5 years. It will require development and implementation of marketing and sales strategies, creation of marketing collateral, direct customer contacts for sales, and research and database management.

The position requires an individual with solid academic training and five to ten years of experience. Strategic thinking, strong communication skills, comfort in the digital world and the ability to create and monitor sales reports coupled with a hands on ability to be productive are the differentiating qualifications we seek.
