THE POSITION
The Marketing Manager is a team player with the ability to build and maintain successful business relationships with existing and new clients. The Marketing Manager will oversee Integral Vancouver’s proposal, marketing, sales and business development efforts and ensure that the COO’s vision is translated to Integral’s clients via our proposals and other marketing, communication and sales activities.

The Marketing Manager will be accountable and responsible for the Proposal and Marketing strategy implementation for Integral Group (Western Canada). They will oversee all aspects of the proposal process, ensuring alignment with Integral’s brand standards and strategy. The individual will be responsible for content coordination, writing, graphics coordination, formatting and on-time delivery of proposal submissions. They will direct a team of marketing professionals to maintain quality, consistency and integrity of our corporate message.

The Marketing Manager will report to the Communications Director to develop our existing systems to follow the corporate growth and structure of the business. Keep current with industry developments with a view to identifying new business opportunities suitable for the Vancouver office and to make initial contact to introduce the firm’s expertise. Provide regular and ad-hoc reporting for marketing activities to the Communications Director and Integral Management as required.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsible for the Proposals Process including, management, creating templates, prioritizing, typing, formatting, reviewing and issuing, and delegating to other marketing staff.
Contribute to the refinement of the company’s vision and strategy through the highest impact business development opportunities
Critically evaluate the success and impact of marketing activities as relates to key performance indicators for the business development function
Building the Brand strategy for Integral by identifying the product positioning, objective and key messages
Maintain all Proposal and BD files
Follow up on all opportunities and proposals with Team Leaders
Ensure the highest quality of proposal writing and presentation of all proposals is being carried out by our staff
Maintain a structured follow up on proposals with clients as required

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
A minimum of 5 years of work related experience in professional Marketing
Experience in Consulting Engineering or a related Engineering or Technical Discipline is highly preferred
University/post-secondary education in Marketing or related discipline
Superior communication (both verbal and written) and presentation skills
General understanding of the Building Services industry and the Professional Services field highly preferred
Demonstrated effectiveness and the ability to work in a high performance environment
Ability to train, motivate and supervise staff
Must be results-oriented and be able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment in order to produce excellent documentation
Fiscal responsibility for the Marketing budget, with analytical ability and cost-benefit analysis.Provide input to the budget, manage spending within the approved budget, and provide analysis of the outcome of Marketing spending, i.e. growth, revenue, new clients, etc.
