Marketing Manager – Franchise Management Inc (FMI) – Woodstock

Franchise Management Inc. (FMI) is one of the largest Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell and Subway franchise operators in North America. FMI is proud to own and operate more than 200 restaurants in Ontario, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, Illinois and Indiana.

FMI is currently looking for an energetic, motivated, and career-minded Marketing Manager. The Marketing Manager’s primary focus will be the creation, implementation, and tracking of restaurant level sales tools and supporting print materials. The successful candidate will provide market research, strategy, and creative assistance where applicable. Please note that this position is at our Head Office in Woodstock, New Brunswick. The successful applicant must either currently reside in that area or be willing to relocate.

The essentials of this position:

Develop and design innovative marketing solutions
Build communication templates
Provide feedback on creative elements
Develop and leverage a portfolio of marketing tools and services
Implement and manage marketing procedures and processes, evaluate existing practices and opportunities for standardization
Coordinate customer events
Aid in competitive research
Participate in determining the group marketing strategy with sales teams
Prepare status reports on marketing efforts

Requirements

Excellent understanding and working knowledge of brand building and brand management
Basic graphic design skills and an eye for aesthetics of promotional materials
Highly effective project management, prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management skills to meet deadlines
Proven ability to prepare marketing proposals with a blend of focused research, strategy, and creativity
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Must have the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
Energetic, self-motivated, and results-oriented
Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable
Computer literate including effective working skills of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
Superb writing, content development and editing skills
University Degree in Commerce or other applicable program preferred
Related work experience considered a marketable asset
