Marketing Coordinator – Ripe Rides – North Vancouver, BC

Role Summary:

Responsible for creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities. Conceptualizes and creates marketing materials, manages projects, and ensures company messages are consistent. Markets services by developing and implementing marketing and advertising campaigns; tracking sales data; maintaining promotional materials inventory; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports.

Ideal candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the following duties:

Responsible for market research and keeping up with industry and technology trends.
Working with external branding, advertising, and digital marketing agencies.
Coordinating and assisting in the implementation of annual marketing plans, tactics and initiatives.
Implementing, tracking and monitoring annual marketing plans and required spending allocations.
Media monitoring.
Responsible for the production of all print materials and signage.
Acting as a liaison between branding, advertising, and digital marketing agencies, print suppliers, sign companies, and various marketing service providers.
Working with Internet service suppliers to manage and maintain website.
Assisting website developers to keep website updated and current; help with SEO, landing page development, etc.
Creating and implementing a timeline for, assisting in writing, and publishing a monthly/quarterly e-newsletter.
Writing and distributing press releases and producing media kits where required.
Researching and gathering information to monitor budgets.
Content strategy and development for all marketing collateral including, but not limited to, e-newsletter, blog, social media posts, videos, advertising, promotional materials, etc.
Coordinating and assisting in the development of video production.
Planning events.
Managing and maintaining all Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
Mail and email list management.
Purchasing promotional merchandise, when needed.

Required Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
Strong digital marketing experience and social media management (Hootsuite)
The desire and ability to learn new technology
Knowledge and proficiency in CRM – Salesforce
Strong creative skills and deadline oriented
Strong attention to detail
Team player attitude, and collaborates with others

Experience working in start-ups would definitely be an asset, as you will already have experience working in a lean organization, wearing many different hats, and going that extra mile to get the job done.

Additional Requirements:

Must have Post Secondary Education – Business Education, Marketing and/or Communication diploma an asset.
Strong graphic design skills and social media management
Minimum 2-3 year marketing experience required
Advanced skills in a variety of software including MS Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Hootsuite.
