As Marketing Coordinator your role will include:
Building Park People’s social media and newsletter presence to support the organization’s strategic objectives;
Liaising with program teams to identify opportunities to amplify Park People’s work and impact;
Creating systems to gather timely and relevant content related to parks and public spaces in Canada and beyond;
Designing Park People’s digital and print materials based on Park People style guidelines and processes for funder recognition and translation;
Providing support for digital events including webinars, and conferences;
Writing content for Park People’s blog, newsletter and social media in both English and French;
Managing and interpreting analytics for social media, newsletter, website, etc.
The skills and experience you bring to the role include:
Fully bilingual in English and French – please specifically indicate this in your application
Experience creating compelling content for a variety of platforms and media;
Experience generating impactful and creative social media content and building newsletter subscriptions;
Experience working collaboratively in a team environment;
Aptitude in digital content software (e.g., Canva) and graphic design skills;
Understanding of and commitment to community-building, the urban parks movement and place-making;
Experience creating accessible content compliant with the Accessible Canada Act;
Proven ability to manage multiple timelines and priorities, and work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Location: Anywhere in Canada
Starting Salary: $45,000
Anticipated Start Date: Mid-end of October 2022
