Marketing Communications Coordinator

Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Marketing Communications, web design or related studies. ? 2 years of experience in the marketing, communications, public relations, account management, or related fields with an emphasis on creating, writing and editing internal/external marketing materials
Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset
Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may

be considered

Ability to create marketing and communication materials.
Excellent oral communication skills
Must be well organized, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize functions on a daily basis while managing multiple responsibilities effectively
Basic videography skills and ability to use digital SLR camera and multimedia

communications (photographs, podcasts, social networking technologies)

Strong skills with Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with social media, blogs and other online communication tools
Strong attention to detail is a must
Confident and outgoing personality; that thrives on new challenges
Basic graphic design

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintains website and social media sites.
Designs, creates and manages promotions and social ad campaigns.
Company blog or website.
Redesign company website as necessary.
Maintains company presence on social media sites like Twitter and Facebook. Organizes promotional events.
Writes content for local newspaper or magazine ads.
Researches ways to reach a wider consumer base, either online or in print.
Designs marketing and promotional materials for the company.
Ensures that all promotional materials are aligned with company’s brand identity.
Designs marketing and promotional materials for the company. Point of contact for media inquiries
Delegates assignments to subordinate marketing specialists
Edits all promotional materials prior to distribution.
Performs other duties as assigned.
