KB Racking is looking to hire a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Junior Project Manager.
The successful candidate:
Has excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with stakeholders up to and including senior executive level
Is able to manage multiple projects in parallel
Has demonstrated the ability to resolve problems and unexpected issues
Is a team player, capable of giving and receiving instruction
Is an excellent time-manager, with a structured approach to his/her workload and is capable of meeting deadlines
Is detail oriented, thorough and diligent
Is highly motivated, takes initiative and is hardworking
Is proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Has a demonstrable interest in sustainability and/or energy issues
Responsibilities will include, but by no means be limited to:
Communicate with customers and suppliers throughout North America
Document and oversee steps and progress of projects
Ensure that projects are completed within timelines and budget
Prepare AutoCAD layouts, engineering reports and ballast calculations
Prepare project documentation for customers
Coordinate component orders, shipments and deliveries with supply chain & logistics department
Review, plan, develop, initiate, maintain, and improve project management tools, processes, and procedures
Strong assets:
Practical experience with AutoCAD
Practical experience with SolidWorks
Knowledge about structural engineering and building codes
Knowledge about solar PV and solar racking systems
Experience in product design and development
