Economic Development and Tourism Manager
The successful candidate will be required to:
Be a strongly self- motivated and highly organized individual
Have working knowledge of the tourism industry and an understanding of the northern cultural and political environment
Show proven knowledge and experience managing and supervising people
Be skilled in operating spreadsheets, word-processing and have working knowledge of graphic design programs such as Adobe Creative Suite
Show proficient knowledge in Economic Development theories and practices
Hold a relevant post-secondary diploma and/or degree in Economic Development and/or Tourism
Have a valid Class 5 Drivers License
Equivalencies recognizing related experience may be considered
The Town of Inuvik is a growing, dynamic community that serves as the hub of the Beaufort Delta Region. We are looking for someone who will lead the team to implement the recently completed Economic Development Strategy and Program for the Town of Inuvik which includes marketing and promotion of Inuvik as a destination for visitation, investment, and community living.

We are offering a starting rate of $40.56 per hour (approx. $79,092 per annum) with an additional Northern Allowance of $7.35 per hour (approx. $14,332 per annum).
