Job Description: We are currently seeking a senior level Corporate Marketing & Communications Coordinator.
This position is an excellent opportunity for an organized and self-motivated professional who has great attention to detail and the ability to multi-task. The position will be in charge of planning and executing internal and external marketing and communication strategies for the company.
Responsibilities:
Be the single point of contact for all marketing, event, sponsorship, and internal and external communications.
Identify marketing and event opportunities for presentation to management.
Identify and coordinate sponsorship opportunities (award shows, festivals, conferences, educational events)
Coordinate marketing, advertising, and promotional activities (working closely with copywriters and internal and external designers and agencies when necessary).
Maintain corporate websites; review and refresh content on a regular basis.
Generate and refresh content for all social media sites (FB, LinkedIN, Twitter) and identify other relevant platforms.
Generate and refresh marketing assets and signage.
Organize and manage art and communications asset library.
Work closely with outside companies on branded materials.
Oversee all internal and external logo and brand usage and ensure usage guidelines are enforced.
Organize, track, and deliver static media deliverables for each television series.
Prepare application and content submissions for industry awards.
Create and/or approve all external Mercury communication including employment postings.
Create, approve, and distribute all internal employee communications.
Coordinate internal cultural activities and initiatives.
Job Requirements:
Graphic Design, Communications, Business, or Marketing degree OR equivalent professional experience
Strong practical grasp of graphic design and principles such as layout, composition, colour spaces (RGB, CMYK), typography etc.
Professional level proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat Pro etc.
Previous experience producing marketing artwork for print, web, etc.
Previous experience managing schedules.
Previous experience working with other artists and designers.
Ability to make decisions, multi-task, and prioritize under pressure.
An extreme attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must.
Proficient with Windows computer systems and standard office software such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Previous media training would be an asset.
Bilingualism would be considered an asset
