Must have skills
8+ years of experience in Capital Markets Business Analysis
5+ years of experience with any of the following – Equities, Fixed Income and their Derivative products, OTC Derivatives
5+ years of Enterprise, Market, or Credit Risk experience within a financial services organization
Good knowledge on accounting, capital (economic/regulatory) concepts
Strong knowledge and understanding of data structures, XML and Relational databases. Ability to write basic SQL queries required to analyze large volumes of data

Other skills
Superior troubleshooting, problem solving, communication (spoken and written), and management skills
Practical experience in capturing client requirements, mapping processes, conducting hypotheses based analysis, creating business cases, evaluating and presenting solutions
Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to develop client relationships and comfortably interact with senior level clients

Role/Responsibilities
Partner with the clients to define requirements and recommend solution options to support business strategies
Acts as a business subject matter expert
Deliver outstanding client results, direct client personnel, prepare work plans, facilitate client teams to implement recommendations
Lead research, design and writing of articles/whitepapers towards collateral development
Draw conclusions from the market /industry trends, client issues and support go to market initiatives for Cognizant
