We are seeking an experienced telephone fundraiser to assist with calls to our donors and supporters across the city. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the work that we do, and the ability to communicate our message passionately and naturally to a range of demographics. The nature of our work makes ‘unscripted’ or flexible conversations most effective, so we are seeking someone with the ability and confidence to learn about the issues and to present them in their own words.

Qualifications:

Experience in telemarketing or phone fundraising is essential
Must be comfortable working in an independent environment
Bilingualism in French and English is a major asset
Management experience is an asset

Hours:

This is a part-time position of 25 hours per week
You must be able to work 4:30-9pm Monday to Friday
Some daytime hours might be required for staff meetings
Weekend calling shifts are available, but not mandatory

Compensation:

Pay will be between $17-22 per hour, based on experience and performance.
