Minimum 3 Years of accounting
Good knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Knowledge of payable and general ledger accounting software required
Mandatory professional expertise of “Quickbooks” accounting software required
Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting
Minimum three years of full cycle accounting experience
Must possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Provide bookkeeping services but is not limited to:
Resolve and supervise problems of accounting clerks
Enter bills into QuickBooks and print cheques
Enter credit card receipts and reconcile credit card statements in QuickBooks
Prepares and enters monthly journal entries using QuickBooks accounting software
Responsible for maintaining client General Ledgers
Completes monthly account reconciliations and schedules
Responsible for analyzing account activity
Prepares financial reporting for Board meetings
Maintains security and confidentiality of client records
Monitoring and verifying all accounts receivables, payroll and make collection calls
Approve expenses verify Bank Reconciliations
Recording and verifying all cheques, process credit card charges and prepare bank deposits
