Duties and Responsibilities:

Reconciling, analyzing and maintaining various GL accounts and subledgers
Preparation of the monthly financial reporting package
Preparation of analytical working papers
Leading compliance audits/reviews as well as quarter and year end reporting
Leading junior accountants
Leading various accounting projects
Providing assistance with inquiries from internal and external customers and vendors
Developing adhoc reports for stakeholders as requested
Assisting with compliance audits/reviews
Others duties as required

Job Requirements:

5+ years accounting experience
Degree or Diploma in a related field
Excellent communication skills – Verbal and written
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Proven ability to deal proactively and professionally with internal and external customers
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Strong interpersonal skills required
High level of motivation and energy
Ability to work in a team environment
Accounting designation an asset
