The Regional District of Fraser-Fort George has an exciting opportunity for a collaborative, innovative, fun, results-oriented and forward-looking individual to fill a new position of Manager of Financial Services. This role requires one to work closely with our team to provide support, advice and guidance on the consistent application of legislation, bylaws, policy and procedures pertaining to finance operations. In addition to typical financial services duties, the Manager will be the subject matter expert for procurement and financial risk management.

The right individual will have a Certified Professional Accounting designation and a successful and proven track record in leadership and management. They will also have at least five years of experience and extensive knowledge in fund accounting, budgeting and best practices implementation as well as considerable knowledge of finance and public sector accounting principles and practices.
