Position Summary
The Key Account Executive (KAE) is responsible for all Business Development activities concerning small to medium accounts. The KAE may also service a large customer due to logistical reasons. The KAE identifies volume and sales opportunities, reviews new and current services, resolves claims and service challenges and conveys information regarding the marketplace, competition and customer needs to the Area Sales Manager. The KAE is responsible for achieving aggressive conversion and penetration of revenue goals. She/he will report directly to the Area Sales Manager.
Key Accountabilities
Volume and revenue development through customer visits and contacts by phone
Follow up on sales leads through employee/phone centre
Handle multiple responsibilities
Ability to work flexible hours (longer hours when required)
Education/Work Experience
Post secondary education and/or 3 years’ related experience in business development
Excellent PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle stressful situations and a high volume of work
Good time management skills and attention to detail
Strong customer service orientation
