IT/Communications/Accounting Clerk
Permanent, Full-time Position
(37.5 hours per week)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, positive individual to serve the community as our IT/ Communications/Accounting Clerk III.
This position will appeal to the professional individual who is seeking exciting challenges, and a friendly, team-oriented work environment. The position will be responsible for administration, maintenance, upgrading and support of the IT resources. Coordination of remote network and software support providers. Maintenance and monitoring all aspects related to social media. Mobile and telecommunications technology coordination support. Provide training and education for staff with regard to the availability of information technology solutions Compile information, process and enter payable transactions, administration of purchase order system, prepare reports and document service delivered. Conduct various audits and reconciliation, including year-end procedures. Drafting and recommending public communications messages and materials. Assisting the Finance & Administration departments in budget and special projects. Relief duties as assigned by the Director of Finance and Administration. The successful candidate will be honest, reliable, pleasant, and dependable, have a willingness to work with customers, be well organized, have the ability to multi-task, be well motivated, able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality.
The following qualifications will be to the candidate’s advantage:
Formal training or education in a combination of Business Administration (Accounting), Communications or Computer Science is mandatory. Other education, training or experience may be considered where a strong aptitude and knowledge of these disciplines can be demonstrated.
Experience in information technology, server maintenance and social media is an asset.
Must have a basic understanding of windows small business server, exchange server and MS SQL server
Must demonstrate strong public relations and communications skills
Demonstrates an ability to prioritize assignments, work independently, and troubleshoot time sensitive problems.
