The primary responsibility of the Inside Channel Account Manager (ICAM) position is to support the assigned Channel Account Manager (CAM) in the ICAM’s assigned territory. This entails offloading from the CAM the daily customer support requests, administrative functions and reporting activities to allow the CAM to focus his/her time on more strategic activities with the large and engaged customers in the assigned territory.
Roles & Responsibilities
The the Inside Channel Account Manager’s (ICAM) is responsible for performing the following roles:
Place an average of 25 outbound telephone calls daily to an assigned list of current customers.
Using the telephone, communicate to the assigned customers the compelling reasons and benefits to increase their sales of the client’s products
Guide and assist the customers to understand and locate important programs available to them on the customer’s website.
Document results of each customer call, track open action items by each customer and report status.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide defined administrative support.
Requirements & Preferences
Candidates must have at least one (1) year of outbound telesales experience preferably in a sales position.
Must be able to clearly communicate on the telephone in English and demonstrate very good English writing skills.
Must have experience using Microsoft Word and email. Must be able to enter data into an Excel spreadsheet.
Experience with the CRM Salesforce.com is a plus.
