EagleBurgmann Nova Magnetics is a specialized manufacturing company located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.  Primary activities include design, sales, and manufacturing of industrial products for export markets worldwide.

We are in need of a Financial Manager whose main role will be to perform daily accounting requirements as well as to handle primary financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Inter-company reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually, Capex, Liquidity, Currency exposure)
Budgeting and Forecasting
Financial statement preparation (income statement, balance sheet)
Bank reconciliations
Account reconciliations
Fixed asset accounting
Daily banking requirements
Accounts payable disbursements
Payroll management

The ideal candidate will have a university degree in accounting or finance along with 10-15 years’ experience.   Past experience working with an ERP system will be considered an asset.

Good communication and interpersonal skills are required and the candidate should be capable of working well in a team environment or independently and being able to meet required deadlines.
