Provincial Aerospace is looking for a Financial Accountant to join our team in St. John’s, NL. The Financial Accountant must have a business/financial background and have excellent analytical skills. The successful incumbent will work closely with the financial department in preparing monthly divisional financial statements.

Responsibilities:

Follow established procedures and guidelines to accurately maintain the organization’s financial records and transactions
Assist with maintenance of accurate general ledger and managerial reports and financial statements
Assist senior accountants as required with journal entries, reconciling accounts, preparing project cost reports
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

University degree or college diploma with a concentration in accounting
Exceptional computer skills, experience with MS Office and other computer programs
Detail oriented with the ability to multi task
Ability to excel in a deadline oriented environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on a team in a fast paced environment
