W.E.B Windenergie Group owns and operates more than 200 renewable energy power plants in Austria, Germany, Canada, France, Italy and the Czech Republic. In 2013, they built their first wind turbine in Nova Scotia, and have grown to 14 wind turbines in operation throughout the province.

On their behalf, we are seeking a Finance Manager to join their team.The Finance Manager will be responsible for the controlling and financial management of SWEB Development Inc., a subsidiary of WEB Windenergie AG based in Austria and further WEB companies in North America.

The Finance Manager will lead:

Planning and forecasting
Cash management
Financing of wind and solar projects
Financial management of project development (the building phase and operation of the wind farms)
Communication with banks, financing institutions and governmental agencies
Reporting for local management and headquarters
Coordination of IFRS accounting of Canadian companies

As the ideal candidate, you are a designated accounting professional with a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, along with 5+ years experience in a similar position. You bring a results-oriented attitude with excellent communication, organization and analytical skills. You are inquisitive, with a natural curiosity to learn new concepts, and have successfully worked independently in a dynamic environment.
