We are looking for 1 Full Time or 2 Part-Time people to help with Client Relations and general office Administration.
This person will work directly with our Client Relations and Accounting manager and be relied upon to assist with email inquiries, educating inquiry minds, helping answer phones, enter orders, and perform general administrative work. In addition, we have misc. projects including help with our website, maintaining databases etc. that are assigned from time to time. This involves an initial commitment to learning about environmental products and related issues, in addition to learning the philosophy, policies and procedures of our company.
The ideal candidate(s) will have studied environmental issues paired with business admin, marketing or sales. For certain, to be successful in this position you must care about helping to make the world a better place, have a good work ethic and be committed to investing in yourself. Beyond that, at a minimum you must have:
Post-secondary education
Strong Computer Skills, preferably with QuickBooks and Excel (or some kind of accounting software) but also in general with a good understanding of computers and good speed of use.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and a good work ethic, with the ability to keep active lists, prioritize and manage time well.
Strong academic ability with attention to detail, accuracy and pride in your work.
A considerate and conscientious demeanour.
Some prior general office experience.
Assets:
Problem solving skills with ability to consider and weigh out variables and make decisions.
Familiarity with the roads and regions in the GTA, and general familiarity with surrounding areas.
Self-motivated, able to take initiative and work independently.
Previous experience with B to B (business to business).
