The City of Terrace is looking for a collaborative, innovative and energetic EDO to join our management team.

Our preferred candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, business and industry, community groups and the public.

We are looking to round out our team with someone who has a proven track record in business and community development, business retention and attraction, and economic growth and diversification.

Knowledge and experience in the areas of economic development, business, negotiations, and real estate transactions will be considered an asset.

This is an exempt position reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer with a 35-hour work week and offers an excellent benefits package.  Given the nature of the position flexible working hours will occasionally be required. The salary for this position will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The City of Terrace is the strategic commercial service and supply centre for the Northwest.  Located in the beautiful Coast Mountains, Terrace is known for its world class fishing and vast outdoor adventure opportunities in a pristine setting.  The community offers quality advanced education opportunities with both the Northwest Community College and a satellite campus for the University of Northern BC located in the community.
