We are currently seeking an E & I Parts Purchaser for our client in Grand Prairie, AB.

Job Description:

As the E & I parts technician / Purchaser you would be responsible for managing the ordering, processing and procurement functions for all materials required for our maintenance and construction E & I and Automation divisions.
You would be required to work closely with vendors, clients and staff. You would also be required to work alongside Project managers and Site Superintendants from the Construction division.
On a day to day basis you would be responsible to ensure all materials are ordered in a timely manner, fall under the project’s cost analysis set out in the bid and pursue cost saving whenever possible.
This position is integral to the Procurement / Purchasing and construction departments.
Responsibilities include responding to emails and answer phones, Assist with shipping & receiving.

Requirements

Apprenticing or Journeyman Parts Certificate or an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Parts Purchaser.
Class 5 Driver’s License.
Experience in the  sourcing and materials in the Instrumentation and Electrical industry
Strong written and verbal skills.
Highly organized and detail orientated.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and experience with QuickBooks would be an asset.
