Director of Finance

Responsibilities

Recruit, train, motivate and monitor a staff of Finance Managers serving all our locations.
Monitor the sale of the company’s financial products and services ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales and sales revenues through positive planning, deployment and management of Finance Manager personnel.
Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.
Ensure compliance with all Government and Financial Institution documentation and requirements.

Core Functions

Collaborate with the President in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.
Manage the division to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives.
Establish and manage effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train Finance Manager personnel.
Review progress of personnel.
Accurately forecast annual, quarterly and monthly sales results.
Develop specific plans to ensure growth in sales.
Provide monthly result assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
Coordinate proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
Assist the President in formulating policies, practices and procedures.

Reporting

Reports directly to President.

Qualifications

Minimum five years automotive experience in a Finance Manager position. Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret performance and market trend information.
Proven ability to motivate and lead.
Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.
A valid driver’s license and criminal check is a requirement before hiring.
