The position will be responsible for providing leadership in planning, coordinating, budgeting the operations of our Canadian division. They will be expected to ensure and improve the performance, productivity and profitability through effective methods and strategies.
Position Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
Manage daily operations of our Canadian division including but not limited to budgeting and staffing
Work collaboratively with Senior Management at the corporate office to ensure short and long term financial health and adhere to regulatory compliance.
Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees
Effectively communicate with franchisees on a bi-weekly basis during tax season
Keep up-to-date of any changes that are made by the Canada Revenue Agency
Plan and prepare Liberty Tax Service annual Canadian Convention
Represent Liberty Tax proactively to the our external vendors
Position Qualifications
Experience in franchise operations
10 or more years of operations management experience
Track record of leading and building teams, while managing successful strategic organizational change initiatives.
Demonstrated experience managing a team and actively developing talent with an ability to motivate as well as manage conflict.
Risk Management experience a plus
