Customer Service Agent – Riverview – Minacs

This position is a front-line Contact Center role. The agent will respond to customer inquiries about warranty products provided by the client to both customers and merchants, which will include updating payment information, as well as researching the customerĀ“s account and providing basic trouble shooting techniques. This role is heavily focused on ensuring that the customerĀ“s needs are met while providing a positive customer experience. Agents may perform some outbound follow up as required. The incumbent must have a strong customer focus and may perform some minor problem resolution.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide general information and guidance to customers regarding warranty products.
Research customer account.
Update customer files.
Access and utilize multiple information systems to answer questions.
Provide knowledgeable assistance for a wide number of products and customer situations.
Provide a level of customer service that meets the specific client requirements in building mutuality and customer relationships.
Make outbound follow up calls as required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Knowledge:
High School Graduation or GED
General knowledge of windows-based applications

Experience / Skill:
Friendly and professional telephone skills.
Minimum of one year customer service experience, focusing on customer service and loyalty.
Solid multi-tasking ability with keyboarding and computer navigation skills for searching client data and product information while simultaneously conversing with client.
