Our client, a well established business serving the construction/building trade, has a temporary full-time position available for a Credit Manager. The opportunity may exist in the future for this position to become a permanent position.
As a key member of the company’s management team, you will be integrally involved in the daily credit granting and collection activities, report to the owner of the business. Duties will include, but not be limited to, the following key elements:
Acceptance, investigation and processing of credit applications for credit worthiness
Negotiation and implementation of collection terms and conditions with customers
Coordinating the preparation of legal documentation with the firm’s legal advisors when required
Regular review of accounts receivable accounts and direct contact with customers to ensure timeliness of collections and enforcement of the company’s credit policies
The preferred candidate will possess several years of relevant credit management experience, be able to demonstrate strong communication skills and be capable of working on an independent basis.
