Credit Manager – Cooke Aquaculture – Blacks Harbour

Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program, is seeking a results orientated individual to join our Company as Credit Manager.  This position is located out of our Blacks Harbour, NB office and reports to the Corporate Controller.

Founded in 1985, Cooke Aquaculture Inc. has grown from a small family business to the world’s largest independent, fully-integrated producer of Atlantic salmon and related products. The credit manager position is accountable the supervision of the credit department, for the credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers, and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers.  The ideal candidate must have proven abilities in managing relations with collection agencies, credit reporting agencies, credit insurance providers and the sales department.

Preference will be given to applicants with 5+ years of credit experience, a Bachelor’s degree in business, a thorough knowledge of credit-related laws, experience with credit scoring systems, customer negotiations and supervisory experience.
