My privately held client is Edmonton based and operated, with a long history of serving our city and the surrounding area.  They have been in business for over 50 years and are well respected in their industry.  In the role of Cost Controller, you will report directly to the CFO.

What does success look like?

You will provide financial leadership and represent finance on various projects
Your attention to cost control and financial management will help ensure profit targets are met
You will develop and document internal controls that safeguard the business while allowing it to grow and prosper
You will monitor and forecast project margins and identify opportunities and risks
Your close interaction with project management will help them better understand the accounting, billings, contract changes and other matters
Your analytical assistance will be key to the success of this role
You have a terrific opportunity to develop optimal project financials and KPI reporting

Who are you?

A designated accountant (CA, CMA, CGA)
Experienced in the area of project cost accounting
