Fairview Investments Limited is an established real estate developer. We are seeking immediately an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to fill the position of Bookkeeper / Office Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a long term permanent position with a successful company.
Bookkeeper / Office Manager
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Accounts Payable supervision including monthly and weekly cheque runs using SAGE AccPac;
Administration of Accounts Receiveable including processing of all cash receipts;
Monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries and general ledger maintenance;
Complete HST and various other government reports;
Strong knowledge of payroll and responsible for payroll relief when required;
Perform year end procedures;
Establish own work priorities, ensuring deadlines are met and procedures are followed;
Various other duties as required.
Requirements for this position would include:
3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping;
Experience with SAGE AccPac would be an asset;
Experience in a computerized payroll system;
Background in the construction industry would be an asset but not a requirement;
Valid Drivers License;
Bondable.
To be successful in this role you will have strong organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal with a wide variety of issues.
