We are currently seeking to fill the position of Bilingual Project Accountant for a 12 to 15 month term in the Bouctouche area. To be considered for this opportunity the following criteria must be met:
Requirements:
Clean criminal record
Post-secondary diploma from one or two year accounting program and/or previous accounts payable, receivable and payroll experience
Detail oriented
Bilingualism is required
Accounting software experience
Ability to work under tight deadlines
Good communication and problem solving skills are required
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
Experience in manufacturing is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
Efficiently communicate accounting costs and revenues to leadership
Prepare general ledger
Prepare invoices for various clients
Prepare and maintain reports and journal entries
Store, update and retrieve financial data
Ensure procedures and reporting follow generally accepted accounting principles
Other administrative duties as required
Compensation:
40 hours/week
$20.00-$30.00/hour
