Comeau’s Sea Foods, a company with attractive employee benefits, is offering a challenging position in our scallop plant.

Job Overview:

Help identify, propose, and implement capital projects to improve operational performance
Support manager with all aspects of plant performance, product quality, administration of all company programs, policies and procedures
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of necessary reports and records
Ensure preventive maintenance program is implemented and maintained
Coordinate plant equipment maintenance and repair
Ensure the safety of all employees

Requirements and qualifications:

Exceptional leadership ability and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of plant processing equipment
Knowledge of MSDS
WHMIS certification considered an asset
Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite products
Willing/able to be flexible and work off-shift work as needed
University degree considered an asset
