Position Overview
In this role, you will work as part of a team responsible for FP&A and will spend the majority of your time collecting, analyzing, modeling, interpreting, forecasting and reporting on information for business performance planning and management purposes. You will have the opportunity to use and develop your skills in areas ranging from investigating and troubleshooting actual or suspected performance issues.
What you will achieve in this role
Specifically, the FP&A Analyst’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Carrying out financial and data analysis and compiling reports for various business purposes including:
• Monitoring and management of business and financial performance
• Input to strategic planning, operational planning and Quarterly Business Report (QBR) processes
• Gathering and validating and compiling quantitative and qualitative information and data from multiple internal and/or external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Interpreting financial information to determine significance, business impact, or implications and developing advice or recommendations for action
What you bring to this role
• CA / CPA Designation and/or an MBA
• 3 – 5+ years’ Financial Planning and Analysis experience
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate, influence and network effectively.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Financial Services experience within the Property & Casualty insurance industry, would be an asset
