We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for our Halifax Office. Our Administrative Assistant reports to the Office Manager and is responsible for administrative and accounts payable duties.
We are an established leader in Environmental Remediation and Demolition with branches in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Post Secondary diploma or certificate in related field.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written/oral communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience in Simply Accounting considered an asset.
Responsibilities:
Answering/transferring telephone calls.
Creating/maintaining multiple spreadsheets.
Preparing employee timesheets for payroll processing.
Issuing/maintaining purchase order system.
Accounts Payable duties.
Sorting/preparing mail.
Filing.
Processing credit card transactions.
Projects/tasks from Management.
