Reporting to and working closely with the Controller, you will be responsible for assisting with day to day accounting and administrative functions to ensure the office is running smoothly and efficiently.
Administrative responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Reception
• Greeting and directing clients and visitors
• Document management/filing
• Maintaining office supply levels
• Ordering catering for meetings
Accounting responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Accounts payable entry
• Performing cheque runs
• Payroll entry
• Assisting with invoicing
• All other accounting/administrative tasks as required
As the ideal candidate, you have completed a post-secondary program in accounting or business administration at the college or university level and have gained 2 – 3 years of related experience.
With strong communication skills and a professional attitude, you work well under pressure to meet multiple deadlines. You are a quick learner who pays close attention to detail and enjoys meeting and assisting others.
