We are seeking a self-motivated individual with excellent organization and communication skills. This position which is based in our Mount Pearl office, offers exposure to advanced I/T systems and procedures, and multiple business units.
As Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for:
Preparation of Client Invoices ensuring adherence to contracts and internal reporting standards
Assistance with A/P accounts as required
Performing regular inventory counts with reconciliation to sub-ledger
Processing monthly accruals as required
Preparation of various monthly accounting reports (e.g. Outstanding A/R, client CNLOPB reports)
Other finance and administrative duties for assigned business segments as required
You will have a minimum of:
Diploma in a 3 year Accounting Program
Minimum of 2 years related experience
Demonstrated competency in Microsoft office applications
Experience supporting offshore oil and gas operations and an understanding of the East Coast oil and gas industry and its regulatory environment would be an asset
Knowledge of SAP finance modules would be an asset
