Accounting Data Entry Clerk – Sooley & Associates – Mount Pearl

Our client is a leading supplier to the Newfoundland and Labrador construction industry and they are currently seeking an accounting data entry clerk.  The candidate should have a strong understanding of accounting and has the ability to work in a fast pace environment.  An overview of the responsibilities is listed below:

Responsibilities:

Prepare, compile, and sort documents for data entry
Check documents for accuracy
Verify and correct data where necessary
Enter data from source documents into Sage 50 software
Check completed work for accuracy
Respond to requests for information and access relevant files

Qualification Requirements

1 – 2 years of experience in Accounting with a college diploma or degree
Advanced computer skills in using Sage 50 accounting program
Advanced computer skills in using Microsoft Office Suite
High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be detailed orientated and organized
Immediate start date for this position
