Accounting Clerk – Port Elgin, NB

Reporting to the accounting supervisor, the objective of this position will be to support the accounting department in the daily processing of transactions.

Responsibilities may include:

Daily processing of accounts payable and receivables
Bank reconciliations and daily banking
Accounts receivable follow-up
Posting of journal entries at month end

Qualifications:

Relevant work experience in accounting and/or community college certificate in accounting
Computer skills and working knowledge of computer software (Excel, Word, accounting software)
Organizational skills
A team player
