We are seeking a full time Accounting Assistant for our Sydney Office. This is a great opportunity with a well established organization.

Reporting to the Accounts Manager and as a member of the accounting team, your primary duties will include:

Processing daily transactions
Recording revenue
Matching, coding and entering accounts payable invoices
Vendor account reconciliations and inquiries
Credit card and employee expense reports
Accounts receivable posting
Providing accounting support to management
Compiling and entering data for management reports
Proficient in Micro Soft Office, Excel, Word & Etc.
Filing
Familiar with Sage 50 Canadian Edition with the proficient in Microsoft Office Excel Word
Other administrative and clerical duties as required

As the ideal candidate, you will have completed a post-secondary education at the college or university level with a focus on business or accounting and have gained a minimum two years’ related accounting support experience.

A confident and flexible individual, you are able to jump into new projects and learn new processes quickly.  With proven organizational and multitasking abilities you consistently meet deadlines with high level attention to detail.  Previous experience using Sage 50 Canadian software is preferred.
