This is a permanent opportunity open to either full-time, year-round accounting professionals or individuals available full-time during the Spring/Summer/Fall seasons.
As a valued member of the management team, you will work closely with senior accounting and finance staff, as well as communicate daily with the General Manager and other internal and external parties. A desirable position with variety and key accountabilities, you will be responsible for daily accounting functions and assisting with general office operations for this organization. Primary duties will include:
• Accounts payable management
• Accounts receivable processing including entries, billing and deposits
• Credit card reconciliations
• Payroll entries to ADP payroll services software
• Petty cash management
• Variance reporting
• Monthly inventory audits and reporting
• Budgeting process support
• Annual billing and fee review
• Manage basic IT requirements
• Assisting with office administration as required
As the ideal candidate, you have completed post-secondary education at the college or university level in accounting and have gained a minimum of 3 years’ experience in related responsibilities.
Demonstrating exceptional initiative and integrity, you are a confident individual who learns new processes and systems quickly while maintaining superior accuracy and attention to detail. A personable and professional individual, you excel in a close-knit team environment and possess above average communication skills. With a go-getter attitude, you have the drive to contribute to the success of this organization.
Prior experience using Simply Accounting software will be considered a strong asset while proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
