Canada’s largest provider of online student assessment and school improvement tools, The Learning Bar (TLB) is looking for an outgoing and highly organized individual to fill a permanent position in our Account Management department.

The Learning Bar (www.thelearningbar.com) was founded in 2005 by Professor Douglas Willms and colleagues. The Learning Bar specializes in the development of evidence-based educational systems aimed at reliably informing educators and school administrators. Its flagship products include the Early Years Evaluation (EYE), an instrument for the direct assessment of children’s developmental skills at ages 3 to 6, and OurSCHOOL|TTFM (Tell Them From Me), a school improvement system that collects, analyses, and reports on factors that are known to affect student learning outcomes currently used in over 250 school jurisdictions across 6 countries.
The Opportunity
The Learning Bar is currently seeking a full-time Account Success Manager. The ideal candidate will work directly to support member success with our survey instruments (OurSCHOOL|TTFM) throughout the member lifecycle: training, survey implementation, delivery, data interpretation, and continuous follow-up.
Responsibilities:
Actively involved in developing relationships and partnerships with all members.
Conduct strategic account reviews regularly to analyze service needs and usage trends.
Ensure members receive excellent training and support.
Collaborate and contribute with Account Success Management team on projects and initiatives including resources, training videos, customer expansion, and related task for TLB’s growing member markets.
Identify and address member needs on an ongoing basis.
Work in collaboration with the Accounting Team to ensure that contracts and invoicing are up to date.
Deliver online informational webinars and training.
Deliver in-person training sessions, and provide ongoing implementation and planning support.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to find ways to retain and increase organizational members.
Identify accounts where revenues may be shrinking and formulate strategies to reach out to these accounts for retention and success.
Gather and internally share customer feedback on product improvements.
Gather and internally share market information on changing member needs, market trends and competing products.
Interact and collaborate with the technical team to maximize member success by identifying and exploring efficiencies with the tool for member benefits.
Interact and collaborate with the research team to provide deeper knowledge supplemental support to the member.
Skills & Qualifications Required:
Applicant will have completed an undergraduate degree, or have equivalent experience, preferably in the field of Social Sciences, Education or Business. Additional experience in data analysis, training, sales or marketing is a plus.
Excellent communication skills (read, write, speak) in English & preferably French.
Account Success Managers must have excellent customer relations, presentation and negotiation skills. Further, this position holds a high-level of accountability, and sound and mature judgment is a must.
Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
Strategically-focused, action-oriented, and highly adaptable.
Ability to work as part of a team and motivate others, while also taking initiative when working alone.
Ability to work under minimal supervision.
Confident and willing to work hard.
Familiar with the education field.
Strong general computer skills; proficiency using Word, Excel, PowerPoint and online Webinar software.
