We are looking for an outgoing, polished, highly organized, team-focused Account Manager to work with our corporate brand partners (clients) on marketing and program initiatives for TerraCycle’s national recycling programs. Primary responsibilities include serving as the single point of contact for a portfolio of TerraCycle’s partners and driving program growth.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in sustainability, marketing and business strategy, brand management/relationship building and program management. The position is based in Toronto and will work closely with the General Manager of TerraCycle Canada and report into Director of Client Services North America.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Manage the relationship between TerraCycle and brand partners, (such as Proctor and Gamble, Maple Leaf, Kraft Canada, Materne etc.)
Plan and lead internal and external reviews and strategy sessions to ensure that work is meeting client requirements and expectations, and that the TerraCycle partnership is most effectively leveraged by the brand.
Create presentations to outline performance and encourage increased brand activity and participation.
Develop knowledge and expertise of clients’ business, industry, competitors, etc.
Develop and implement marketing plans for new and existing brand recycling programs.
Manage program contracts, budgets, and monthly invoicing procedures.
Act as a liaison for Marketing, PR, Creative, Operations and other departments to ensure execution of all contractual obligations and drive program growth and success.
Manage a variety of projects, such as retail activation, social media awareness, internal launches, etc.
Requirements:
BA/BS/B.Com required
Fluency with PPT & Excel
1-3 years of experience
Detail oriented and organized
Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate empathy and commitment to the client with ability to manage expectations
Strong presentation skills. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, ability to prepare clear and concise client-ready documents
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Interest in environmental sustainability.
