Midland Transport is currently seeking a full-time “Account Manager” reporting to the Regional Sales Manager at the Brampton Terminal location. The selected candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic and a “Can Do” attitude.
Successful Candidate will possess the following:
Minimum High School diploma;
Post Secondary courses in Business Administration or Transportation are assets;
Excellent communication skills;
Ability to deal effectively and efficiently with both internal and external customers;
Proficient knowledge of excel and MS Office;
Problem solving ability with required sense of urgency;
Negotiations skills;
Detail oriented;
Knowledge of AS400 an asset;
Key Responsibilities:
Seeking and developing new courier business
Achieving an aggressive territory revenue plan
Managing an effective prospecting and target pipeline program
Development of existing territory & relationships
