Ganong Bros., Limited is currently seeking a Account Manager who is responsible for managing existing customer and private label relationships and develop new business opportunities that are aligned with the organizations capabilities and strategic priorities with a priority of fostering strong relationships with existing and new business partners.
Responsibilities will include:
Maintain and optimize customer relationships to ensure Ganong is a preferred supplier and partner
Establish and foster new customer relationships with a high level of customer service
Generate new business leads through communication with potential customers
Initiate New Product Development projects aligned with the needs of our customers and our strategic priorities and capabilities
Develop critical path for creating cost estimates, samples and quotes to be presented to customers
Champion new product initiatives to meet objectives by working with business analyst and project manager
Manage all aspects of customer communication including pricing, inventory, trials, quotes, demand forecasts, etc.
Research customer brands and proactively propose new product ideas in line with Ganong core competencies
Maintain and ensure valid demand forecasts to provide visibility to manufacturing and to meet high customer service expectations
Development of budget assumptions for sales and margin
Attend regular customer meetings with clients with some travel required
Qualified applicants must possess:
Post-Secondary Education in a related field is preferred
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential
Knowledge of various pricing models is considered an asset
Excellent computer skills
Strong business acumen with the ability to work well under pressure
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively
