Aggreko, the world leader in temporary power, temperature control and oil-free compressed air solutions, is looking for a highly motivated, creative, Account Manager to sell into the Commercial, Oil and Gas and Industrial sectors in the Fort McMurray proper area. Aggreko sales professionals uncover and respond to problems or points of pain and deliver solutions, with the support of highly skilled technical resources.
The Account Manager sells rental services to industrial businesses through the use of a well-defined sales process. Consultative sales is key to success in this role with cold calling, face to face meetings, relationship management, identifying client needs and value added selling as daily activities. This position will require you to reside in Fort McMurray and has about 10% travel.
Key Responsibilities:
Compiles lists of prospective customers from various sources for use as sales leads.
Establishes a customer base in which to promote and solicit new and on-going business.
Calls on regular and prospective customers by phone or by traveling throughout assigned territory to solicit orders and close sales.
Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes salable features.
Quote prices, contract terms, estimated delivery date, and credit terms.
Prepare sales contracts in conjunction with the rental coordinator for orders obtained.
Prepares various reports and presentations as required for sales, client meetings, expenses, etc.
Maintain accurate reports and database records of customer contacts/activities and transactions.
Provides technical sales assistance for power and temperature applications using job related manuals.
Work with National Accounts Manager, Business Development Managers and the local selling team to increase wallet share of existing and new accounts.
Proficient at formulating sales revenue forecasting / projections
Records daily and weekly activities in the CRM system.
Communicate information concerning collections, estimated revenues of contracts, new contracts, pending contracts, and overall activity with accounts.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in a related service industry
PC literacy in a Microsoft environment, customer relations systems experience a plus
A self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
Ability to travel 2-3 days per quarter to Edmonton.
Must be a market driven professional with high levels of energy and enthusiasm
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and leadership skills
Ability to cultivate strong working relationships with customers and internally cross business areas
Consistent achievement of revenue and profitability targets
Valid Class 5 Drivers License, Drivers Abstract to be provided on request
Must be able to work in a Safety culture.
