As a Sales Account Executive you are responsible for securing new business and maintaining customer relationships. You will be expected to plan, develop and execute sales strategies. As the primary point of contact, you will be acting as the liaison between Raymark and your business prospects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop sales of the organization’s products and services opportunities within assigned customer and prospect accounts in North America
Plan and organize sales strategy for accounts in sales pipeline
Coordinate efforts with Presales, Marketing, Product Management, as well as other departments, to drive sales opportunities to closure
Perform detailed discovery and qualification of sales opportunities to determine value to the organization
Lead and collaborate with various departments in responses to RFPs and RFIs
Give executive-level presentations and promote the company’s value proposition
Develop clear and effective written proposals and quotations
Conduct contract negotiations
Achieve and surpass established sales quotas
Generate new leads and opportunities to grow sales pipeline
Attend trade shows and exhibits
Record account information and sales data and activities in the company’s CRM system
Travel as required (75% – 25% office to travel ratio)
Complete solution and sales training
Maintain a high-level of industry and competitor knowledge
Qualifications & Competencies:
Knowledge of the retail industry
Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise software sales
Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving and ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach)
Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel
