About the role:
This is a one year full time maternity leave position starting late March 2015. The Account Coordinator – Sales Support will work closely with the Sales team to support the efficient and timely processing of orders, from sales approval through to production and order delivery. You will coordinate all aspects of order confirmation and processing ensuring that deadlines are met and clients are happy. You get things done and don’t miss a beat. You will be joining us at our office located near Olympic Village in Vancouver; hours are 9-5pm.
What you’ll be doing:
You’re responsible for coordinating the timely and efficient processing of orders including:
Preparing sales orders, purchase orders, and invoices.
Working with artwork proofs, order tracking, shipping.
Support account managers in developing sales proposals and quotes.
Maintaining up to date information in our order management system and QuickBooks.
Dealing professionally with suppliers to maintain and build positive relationships.
Carrying out general office administration including answering phones, sending samples, filing etc.
Participating in daily and weekly, monthly meetings
Assisting with special projects when needed.
What skills and experience you’ll bring:
You are detail oriented, self-confident, and very, very organized.
You are able to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment with deadlines.
You are a master of multi-tasking.
You have great interpersonal skills both in person and on the phone.
You possess excellent oral and written communication skills and a good command of the English language.
You have knowledge and interest in social responsibility; environmental sustainability and sustainable products
You are comfortable working in Word, Excel, Outlook, Photoshop and Illustrator.
You have a working knowledge of and QuickBooks.
You have at least 2 years related experience.
